متولد 1330 در اهواز. دیپلم

از سینمای آزاد آغاز کرد و پس از ساخت چند فیلم 8 میلیمتری به سینمای حرفه ای راه یافت.

سه فیلم اول جزو بهترین های آن سالها بودند. بطوریکه تنوره دیو در چهارمین جشنواره و آنسوی آتش در ششمین جشنواره فیلم فجر سیمرغ بلورین بهترین کارگردانی را برای او به ارمغان آوردند. پس از این سه فیلم، عیاری به سینمای کمدی روی آورد و دو فیلم تجاری خوش ساخت را کارگردانی کرد که هر دو از پرفروشها بودند. در اواسط دهه هفتاد بودن یا نبودن را ساخت که با استقبال گرم منتقدان و با استقبال سرد عموم (به دلیل اکران نامناسب) روبرو شد.
